Essential Oil Safety
Allergy Warning: This product contains Nut Oils (Argan, Sweet Almond, Coconut Oil and Shea). If you have a nut allergy, consult a medical professional before use.
Patch Test Recommended: Apply a small amount of balm to the inside of the elbow or wrist. Wait 24 hours. If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
A Safety & Usage Information
At La Cabra Nubia, we use high-quality essential oils to provide natural fragrance and benefits. However, essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and must be handled with care.
Skin Sensitivity: Some essential oils (such as Cinnamon, Clove, or Citrus oils) can cause irritation or "hot" sensations if the skin is sensitive. Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before full application.
Photosensitivity: Certain citrus oils (Lemon, Lime, Bergamot) can cause the skin to burn more easily in direct sunlight. Avoid UV exposure immediately after applying products containing these oils.
Pregnancy & Medical Conditions: Customers who are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care for chronic conditions (like epilepsy or high blood pressure) should consult a physician before using products with essential oils.
External Use Only: Our products are designed for the beard and skin. Do not ingest. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact a Poison Control Center or seek medical attention immediately.
Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water or a carrier oil (like olive oil) to dilute the sting.
Keep Out of Reach of Children: Essential oils can be toxic to children and pets if handled or consumed improperly.

Storage & Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. High temperatures can cause oils to oxidize or go rancid. Best used within 3 months of opening.
